Cast Iron and Cocktails has set out to be different from most other food and drink websites you might find. Our goal is to not only share recipes we love, but also the history of the food and drink found here. At Cast Iron and Cocktails we believe that the story of what we make is just as important as the taste, and each recipe posted to this site will be accompanied by the story of its creators to pay homage to the innovators that came before us. 
 

With that said, it should be noted that despite Cast Iron and Cocktails' dedication to the past we are not just the tried and true classics. We also like to innovate and make our own twist on the classics to continue the legacy of those artist who came before.
